A Big Thanks to Those who Joined us at the Transformations 2023 Uluro User Conference

Our 2023 Uluro User Conference was held August 15 and 16 in historic Franklin, Tennessee. For the second year in a row, Uluro users from across the country joined us for informative product sessions, educational presentations from four industry experts and valuable time with other Uluro users and the Transformations team.

We always have so much to share at our User Conference and this year was no different. Here are the highlights:

A view of how AI is impacting us all

Bill Tidwell, Transformations’ CEO, kicked off the first day with a presentation on how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing every type of business, as well as the way we live. Over the past couple of years, we have seen AI used to help us be more productive and get certain tasks done swiftly. However, the recent growth in AI’s power and use has been exponential. Exploring the current state of AI—and advancements we might see in the future—kept everyone captivated.

Security concerns covered in our tech track

With cybersecurity concerns increasing over the past few years, data security was a topic everyone was interested in discussing. We shared what Transformations has done and continues to do to address and gain control of this issue, including the following initiatives:

  •  We introduced the newest versions of uSetup and uControl, our OnceAmation® technology that makes it possible to safely build repeatable workflows from start to finish. Both modules now have compliance embedded in the software along with the postal requirements, merging and combining criteria and print configurations.
  •  We covered the benefits of Uluro’s uSecure. uSecure distinguishes itself from traditional encryption by leveraging selective decryption coupled with policy-based enforcement. It is a powerful solution for ensuring the security of the type of documents our users produce.
  • We introduced Smart Delivery at our User Conference in 2019. Smart Delivery is a stand-alone solution that makes secure email delivery possible by supporting our customers’ ability to meet the stringent requirements of specific regulations for document security.

Industry experts shared their perspective

Our sincerest thanks to the following industry experts who shared their perspectives on the state of the industry and what you need to know going forward:

  •  Kathie McDonald-McClure, partner with the law firm of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, who presented a deep-dive session into the state, federal and international data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA, FTC, GLBA, CCPA, GDPR), as well as healthcare regulatory and transactional matters. She leads her firm’s data privacy and cybersecurity team and was extremely knowledgeable as to the current state of all these laws.
  • Madison Advisors’ President Kemal Carr and Senior Analyst Jeff Weldon, who shared the steps needed to build a customer experience roadmap that will support an organization’s customer experience management strategy.
  • Leo Raymond, a five-decade veteran of the postal and mailing community, spoke to the group about current mailing and postal issues of interest to our Uluro users and their customers.

We like to work hard, then relax and have fun

Not only did we enjoy the amenities of the beautiful Harpeth Hotel each day, but we also enjoyed a scrumptious lunch at Gray’s on Main, set in an 1876 Victorian building that used to be the home of Gray Drug Co., a landmark pharmacy in Franklin for nearly a century. Add to that an unforgettable night of live country music at The Stage on Broadway, an iconic honky-tonk bar located in the heart of Nashville’s famous Broadway strip, and we are certain a good time was had by all.

Was our 2023 User Conference a success? We think so! A big thank you to all who attended! If you missed it, we invite you to reach out to Alexandria Gregory at alex@transfrm.com to learn more about what was covered at the conference or to schedule a demo on any of our product enhancements.
